I'm taken!
Yesterday this time, I was filled with excitement and emotions. Although me and toh have been really looking into settling down lately, the feeling of getting proposed to was just indescribable at that point of time. It was a mixture of happiness, nervousness and uncertainty towards what the future beholds. A few days before the actual day, toh asked if I wanted to watch fireworks. Initially I was confused because i was wondering why will there be fireworks? Upon further clarification, toh explained that there were ongoing NDP previews and there will be fireworks! So, he then continued that he really wanted to watch so he had booked a hotel room nearby for a staycation. At that point of time, he didn't make known the hotel name and i didn't probe further. To be honest, I got a little suspicious because there wasn't any occasion to have a staycation and I don't recall him being a huge fan of watching fireworks. But then again, I didn't want to anticipate...
